Amanda Koffman-Xaba studied Informatics where she received a B.Comm (Hons, University of Witwatersrand) as well as B.Comm (Information Systems) from University of Johannesburg. She has a Professional Certificate in Project Management and was previously a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
She started her career at KPMG as a risk specialist in the area of media, mining and banking. She spent 10 years in Financial Services Sector holding various positions in Risk Management and Audit both locally and internationally (Italy, Spain, UK). Presently she is an Operational Risk Manager for Absa Wealth where she sits on various steering committees. She has won numerous awards i.e. Audit Nedbank Achiever and the Audit Academy Leadership Award.
